What it does

Turn PNG images into JPG files that are smaller and accepted everywhere, with transparent areas filled in white.

PNG is great for graphics, but photos saved as PNG are often five to ten times bigger than the same picture as JPG, and some forms only accept JPG. cextool converts PNG to JPG in your browser and makes the file far smaller while keeping the photo looking the same.

JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. For a logo or graphic that needs to stay transparent, choose WebP or keep PNG instead. Drop a whole folder to convert many files at once and download them as a ZIP. The result is a standard baseline-compatible JPG that every phone, computer, website and printer accepts, which is often the whole reason a form rejected the PNG in the first place.

Conversion runs on your device with MozJPEG. Nothing is uploaded, and location and camera metadata are removed from the result by default.

Questions

What happens to transparent areas?
JPG can't store transparency, so they are filled with white. Use WebP or PNG to keep them transparent.
Will the JPG look worse than the PNG?
For photos, Recommended looks the same at normal size. Graphics with sharp text can show slight edges; keep those as PNG or WebP.
Can I convert many PNGs at once?
Yes. Drop a folder or many files and download them as one ZIP.
Why is the JPG so much smaller?
PNG stores every pixel without loss; JPG is designed for photos and drops detail the eye doesn't notice.
Can I convert screenshots to JPG?
You can, but text and sharp edges may look slightly soft. For screenshots, PNG or WebP usually looks better at a similar size.
